–       Facebook’s advertising platform is in its early stages and showing promise for large brands and small businesses alike.

–       One example – a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream study with Nielsen indicate that every $1 spent on Facebook results in $3 in incremental sales. Not really sure how accurate that is but for the small business, while interesting  it is probably NOT relevant.

–       A small business example highlighted was a Wedding Photographer case study indicating $70,000 in new sales from a $1,500 micro targeted ad buy. That IS relevant.

–       Over 3 million small businesses are now advertising with Facebook.
