Business stories told as marketing are so effective because they allow the viewer to take a moment, focus on your message and easily step into the role of customer. This is especially true when the story being told is about the benefit to the customer. In this short video, we meet Denise Wood, founder of Advanced Allergy Solutions.

Denise shares her “Client Benefit Story” in this simple and short video. The story she tells serves a great marketing purpose; it allows people to understand what they should expect as part of the process, the benefits they will receive and it also gives them a moment to get to know Denise, making them much more comfortable when they call or walk in the door. The story in this video also provides hope – the thought process from the prospect is “Denise has clearly done this sort of treatment for people who have the conditions that I do – she can help me as well” – because they feel they have proof.

This is business storytelling, the client benefit, as marketing. One of the beautiful things about this is how easy and natural it feels – now Denise does not love being on video (who does?) and, like for most of us, it felt awkward to do the first few, but I think you’ll agree, we get a nice sense of who she is, what she’s about and that she is a nice, genuine person who cares about the people she and her team help on a daily basis.

The goal of business story marketing, especially done with video is to allow prospect to get to know, like and trust us. It’s easy to tell your story – especially when you stay focused on whats important: THEM.
