Making social marketing easy for small business owners, specifically by sharing your story, is my passion. So when I discover something new that makes marketing a bit easier for us, I’m eager to share! Here’s something I just started using, it’s simple with good potential.

Meet branded.me your beautiful new personal web site in a single click.

Granted, this is designed for the individual versus business use (at least today). However, as SMB owners we are our brand’s spokesperson so branded.me is a simple and striking way to boost your personal and thus business presence online.

We are the leaders and figureheads of our business, it’s not all ‘social ego’ to construct mini-branded sites, it’s about sharing who you are (as a human) and what you do (as a business) in as many places as possible – because people are interested and interested people become customers.

Branded.me launched about a month ago and is similar to other services like about.me with one big difference;  Branded.me creates a site for you with a single click that pulls info from your LinkedIn profile and repopulates that content in a very clean, modern and fun fashion.

It’s so simple and even with the default template it would do anyone proud. (Here’s mine, no editing, just the single click!) As a bonus there’s free intuitive and simple editing tools that let you customize your site like a web design ninja. If you want to take it to the next level their inexpensive subscription options can take you further. Want to know more? Check out Dan Schawbel’s recent post where he provides additional details.

The bottom line is if you have a complete LinkedIn profile – and every small business owner should – then there is no reason not to add your branded.me site too.  And don’t just take my word for it, personal branding expert Ryan Rhoten agrees too with this solid review  of the service as well as other personal branding tools.

Tweet out your site – @SocialJumpstart / @MikeWolpert – I’d love to see it!
